Christy Goolsby joins the Byte Solutions team

2007 has been a great year for Byte Solutions. We have seen many positive changes including attaining our Microsoft Gold Certified partnership. Byte Solutions has always focused on providing a high level of proficiency and value to our customers. To that end, we are very excited to introduce you to our newest team member. Byte Solutions has hired Christy Goolsby, who will be joining our team December 19, 2007 as senior engineer.

Her educational background includes graduating Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Devry University in Alpharetta, GA. It also includes various certifications including MCSE (Windows Server 2003), MCSA, CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician), MCDST, MCP, Net+, and A+. She will have her CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification before 2008.

Having over 5 years of experience in the IT industry, she brings exceptional knowledge, ideas, and perspectives. Her experience ranges in all aspects of IT, from assisting with computer and server issues to building infrastructures and troubleshooting network problems. Building data servers, implementing group policies, creating Active Directory structures, assisting with implementing Exchange Servers, configuring Terminal Servers, building Blackberry Enterprise Servers and Goodlink Servers are all tasks she has been performing on a regular basis. Configuring and implementing Watchguard firewalls, maintaining Cisco ASAs, helping with ISP changes, planning the network infrastructure, and monitoring networks are a few of the networking items she is skilled in.

Her excellent communications and documentation skills combined with motivation to make sure that our customers are always satisfied with the product put in place will make her an excellent addition to our team. The abilities and experience that she has will enable her to discuss IT needs with the customer, explaining all aspects of solutions to the customer, and working with them until it fully achieves what they are looking for.
